‘Al horno y punto‘ receives the silver medal which is an important recognition, opening new doors in the German market.
Tabladillo starts the year with a recognition for its product ‘Al horno y punto’. After the Christmas season, which has meant a peak of great activity in our facilities, the whole team is delighted to receive the silver medal awarded by the German Agricultural Society (DLG). This is yet another reason to continue to focus on a job well done.
We are talking about a highly prestigious award in Germany, a suckling pig producing country and, therefore, a complicated market for Tabladillo. This recognition can undoubtedly translate into new open doors and opportunities.
David de María, our General Manager, explains that: “In order to award this distinction, the panel of experts that made up the jury, together with professionals from the category analysed, carried out an exhaustive sensory analysis in which they assessed the organoleptic characteristics of the product: appearance, aroma, flavour and textura”.
Food safety is another of the aspects valued by the jury, which is one of our strong points, with certifications such as IFS and professionals on staff specialised in quality, traceability, hygiene and food safety.
The German Agricultural Society (DLG) is a non-profit association with 125 years of experience that analyses around 30,000 products per year with the aim of promoting food quality. Its experience and independence make it highly respected both in the retail trade and among consumers. It should be noted that Germany is a pioneer in the field of quality awards.
