Follow these 3 steps to cook the quarter roast suckling pig:
- Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
- Open the plastic package and place the piece of suckling pig on a roasting tray with a little water at the bottom.
- Place in the oven pre-heated to 220ºC and bake for approximately 50 minutes.
Use the oven with dual cook mode to ensure balanced baking throughout the cut. If needed, brown for a few more minutes to taste.
You can also cook it in an air fryer by following these steps:
- Preheat the fryer to 200ºC.
- Open the bag, remove the quarter suckling pig and place it on the tray. You can brush the skin with olive oil to make the skin crispier.
- Roast for 30 minutes with the fryer at 200ºC. If necessary, cook for a few more minutes until the skin is golden brown to taste.
This suckling pig is pre-roasted, which you will have to cook in the oven for just 50 minutes. It is delivered vacuum packed. Shelf life of 120 days (from labelling) and 2 years frozen.
