Tabladillo in “Hecho en Segovia”

Would you like to know what the whole process of preparing suckling pigs is like?

A few weeks ago we welcomed the ‘Hecho en Segovia’ team from Castilla & Leon TV Channel 8 to our facilities. It was a fun and different experience in the daily work of the company.

During the filming, Fernando Nicolás, head vet at Tabladillo, reminded us of the importance of animal welfare at all stages of the production process. He also explained how, after a lot of work, they had managed to create a perfect traceability protocol. This allow us to learn each animal’s life history in one click, which would help us enormously in solving problems in crisis situations such as animal epidemics.

After the categorisation of the animals by weight, Sergio Simón, PROCOSE Qualification Technician, tells us about the process of selecting the animals to enter the select group of PROCOSE quality marks.

Finally, Israel de María, Financial Director, explained the order management process, which we have perfectly automated. Order recognition, reading, packaging and labelling are the last 4 steps before the products are dispatched to restaurants and points of sale.
