NO, for the moment we only serve online orders in mainland Spain and Balearic Islands.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BAKED AND READY TO BAKE AND THE FIFTH?

In the case of Al horno y punto, it is a fresh product solution, that is to say, not subjected to any heat or cooking process, which will arrive vacuum-packed and baked for 2 hours in its own bag.

On the other hand, LA QUINTA products have been subjected to a cooking process, so we consider them to be pre-baked products that you will have to regenerate in your oven for 45 minutes to get a crispy and golden skin.

ARE THEY SUITABLE FOR CELIACS?

Yes, none of our products contain gluten. However, we recommend checking the label or box of the product for any other allergens.

WHAT DO I DO IF THE HEAT-RESISTANT OVEN BAG BREAKS AND THAT'S IT?

The perfect baking of Al Horno y Punto takes place in its own heat-resistant bag. However, if the bag breaks, the product can be baked by removing the bag. The difference is the duration, which may be longer than the estimated time, so it is necessary to check its cooking.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUCKLING PIG AND BABY PIG

In Segovia, as the birthplace of the suckling pig, we know the suckling pig as the suckling animal weighing between 3 and 8 kilos, whose fat is obtained solely from its mother’s diet, and which has never been fed externally, i.e. with fodder.

The piglet, on the other hand, is the animal which, once it has ceased to be a suckling animal, has switched to a feed-based diet, and is fit for consumption when it reaches a weight of 8 kilos and up to 25 kilos.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COCHINILLO MC AND COCHINILLO TABLADILLO

In both cases we can guarantee a product of the highest quality. The difference between the two is that the MC suckling pig has been certified and approved by the external certifiers of the PROCOSE quality mark (the organisation for the promotion of suckling pig from Segovia), as it complies 100% with all the parameters determined by the mark. In the case of the COCHINILLO TABLADILLO, it is our own quality members who certify that it is a product of the highest “quality” that can be sold, without necessarily fulfilling all the conditions required by the MC.

CAN I ASK FOR A SPECIFIC CUTTING AND DATE?

We do not make custom orders for specific cuts or specific shipping dates for online orders. However, you can always leave your preferences in the comments section when placing your order and we will take them into consideration as far as possible.

During the Christmas period (1st November – 6th January) we are unable to postpone the delivery of orders. In order for all our customers to enjoy the suckling pig at their table on key days, we recommend placing the order a few days before.

HOW MANY PEOPLE IS EACH RANGE OF SUCKLING PIG FOR?

From Tabladillo, we recommend that you check the product you want. There you will find the recommended portions or servings.

The portions of each product will depend on the weight of the specific product. It is also important to take into account whether the selected product will be used as a main or side dish. As well as knowing the number of diners and their ages, as the proportions will be different.
